Alle Bals stekkers en koppelstekkers zijn impact-bestendig en stabiel bij extreem hoge temperaturen. Ze zijn ook duurzaam en bevatten geen PVC, cadmium of halogeen. Bals onderscheidt zich nog door gebruik te maken van nieuwe ontwikkelingen om de installatie veiliger en gemakkelijk te maken.
Zo maakt de Duitse fabrikant gebruik van Kontex contact. Hierbij is er een gedefinieerd contact dankzij veermechanisme in roestvrij staal.
Verder gebruiken ze ook een schroefloze boxveerklem aansluiting voor het bevestigen van kabels. Dit Quick-Connect systeem zorgt ervoor dat de kabel betrouwbaar, permanent en met een constante klemdruk vast zit. Het is onderhoudsvrij, tril- en schokbestendig. Daarenboven kunnen meerdere kabeldiameters probleemloos worden aangesloten en bespaart dit systeem tot 75% installatietijd.
Tenslotte is Bals ook fier op de door hun uitgevonden Multi-Grip techniek. Dit is een uniek en optimaal kabelsparend trekontlastingssysteem voorzien van 18 flexibele lamellen met onverliesbare gummidichting. Overigens kunnen verschillende kabeldiameters worden bevestigd.

The SYNTAX® SSX series, designed for professional applications and perfectly compatible with standard Socapex 419 series, is extremely robust being made of thick wall construction machined aluminium alloy, with a hard black anodized finish or black painted finish. The contacts insert is chloroprene rubber, which enables the use of removable contacts, either crimp or solder version. The unit is completely IP67 watertight when mated. Electrical safety and compliance is guaranteed by internal insulation of the shells, obtained through a safety insulating sleeve to prevent electric shock, as well as “first make last break” ground contacts. Grounding rings allow bussing of the ground contacts. Locking rings and backshells are designed for easy handling.
