SHD ROADLINE
Inline and panel versions available
The SYNTAX® SHD ROADLINE series is a newly conceived product, suitable for outdoor live performances (PA) and broadcasting (OB). SYNTAX® SHD ROADLINE is extremely robust, in compliance with Mil. C505 and VG 95234 military standards. This version has been enhanced to ensure long term reliability and increased number of mating cycles in rigorous conditions. It is also provided with bigger coupling roller pins for easier coupling. The increased thickness of the locking ring is meant to avoid ovalization caused by unintentional blows and supplied with enlarged rolling pins for easy mating. Deeper knurling on the hand grip and oversize locking ring also help better mating/demating. "Heavy duty" backshell is designed to ensure effective protection and easy wiring. All SYNTAX® SHD ROADLINE connectors are suited for outdoor applications being IP67 waterproof. Accessories, assembling tools and protection caps are supplied. Protection caps are directly laced to the backshell through a cord made up of 7 stainless steel strands protected by special anti scratch teflon tubing.
Different options are available to meet even the most demanding requirements. SYNTAX® SHD Roadline series is supplied in several configurations: 13, 19, 25, 37, 54, 85, 100 and 150 pins.
Features and Benefits
Guaranteed performance up to 10 Gb/s (USB 3.1 Gen.II compatibility)*
Push Pull mating design provides secure locking system if mated with NMC-*
Reversible USB-C housing Provide power up to 100 W (@5A/20V)
Shielded connection – high noise immunity and EMI protection
Mates with conventional USB-C receptacles
The SYNTAX® SSX series, designed for professional applications and perfectly compatible with standard Socapex 419 series, is extremely robust being made of thick wall construction machined aluminium alloy, with a hard black anodized finish or black painted finish. The contacts insert is chloroprene rubber, which enables the use of removable contacts, either crimp or solder version. The unit is completely IP67 watertight when mated. Electrical safety and compliance is guaranteed by internal insulation of the shells, obtained through a safety insulating sleeve to prevent electric shock, as well as “first make last break” ground contacts. Grounding rings allow bussing of the ground contacts. Locking rings and backshells are designed for easy handling.
NAOBO is a flexible chassis mounting and adaption solution with cable strain relief to meet any kind of standard fiber connector (z.B. LC, SC, ST). With a cable tie it can be fixed to a rack. The breakout adapter can be mounted straight or angled.
Breakout-Adapter-Kit consisting of 1 NAOBO plastic housing, 1 counter nut, 1 90° rear shell, 1 PG-gland, 1 cable tie and 2 screws.
SPK SYNTAX® connectors are available in the 8 pin configuration, fully intermateable with the widely used CA-COM connectors. SPK SYNTAX® allow the conveyance of high electric power signal to professional loudspeakers. The design presents the same key features of SVK Series, and can be supplied with rubber covered locking ring and with gold plated solder-type contacts.
The SPK SYNTAX® connectors are solidly-built so to ensure long term reliability. Moreover, they do not present the shortcomings of older connectors still used in industrial or military environments.

SPZ is the ultimate connector for cluttered and/or narrow spaces. As for the design, we took special care in reducing dimensions.
The handgrip has been reduced in size, without losing the unprecedented gripping quality of the SPX series. The SPZ connectors (source or drain) are equipped with IP2X - finger protection against direct contact with live parts.
Cables 25 mm² to 95 mm² are connected to the contact through a set screw termination.
Cable retention is provided by an M40 plastic cable gland. The cable gland is IP68 watertight and has a clamping range of 15 to 28 mm.
Technical features, electrical phase and safety instructions are embossed on the connector's shell.
